I participated in the 2010 HRA-NCA Compensation Survey. Can I get access to the Online Survey Query Tool?

Yes, but you must purchase the survey report in order to get access to the online query tool. (See "Purchase" link above).

I am not a participant, but I purchased the 2010 HRA-NCA Compensation Survey. Can I get access to the Online Survey Query Tool?

No.  Starting with survey year 2006 you must participate and purchase the report in order to get access to the online tool. You may purchase a subscription to the on-line query tool that includes a copy of the Compensation Survey.

I purchased the 2010 Government Contractors Survey Report. Can I get access to the Online Survey Query Tool?

Participants - Yes. The online tool will allow you to query, view and export data from the Government Contractors Survey report alone.
Non-Participants - No.  You must purchase a subscription to the on-line query tool.

Do I need a separate User ID and password to participate in the surveys and to access the Online Survey Query Tool?

No. Each organization is given one User ID and password to access all the features of the portal. This includes the Compensation Survey, the Benefits Survey, as well as the Online Survey Query Tool ( provided you have purchased a survey report).

How will the system know whether I want access to the online data or want to participate?

The system will determine what options to provide based on your User ID and the time of year you are signing on. If the Compensation and Benefits surveys are being conducted ( March through June), one of your options once you sign in will be to proceed to the online survey instrument. Once the surveys close, those menu options will no longer be available. If you've purchased the survey report the previous year, then one of your options will be to proceed to the Online Survey Query Tool.

When will the 2010 survey be available for participation?

The Compensation Survey and the Benefits Survey will be available to participants on 2/12/2010 9:00:00 AM.

How many people in our organization can use the data portal?

Your organization is provided one user ID to access the portal. In order to participate in the surveys, you may provide this user ID and password to several people that may be able to complete different parts of the survey. For example, if different people will be working on the compensation section and benefits section, they can share the user ID and complete the questions independently and simultaneously. However, only one user at a time may access the Online Survey Query Tool.
